I can't believe we got to the last post on Lago di Como. I miss you, but what comforts me is knowing that we've closed our wedding script for the region with a gold key. The hotel I left to the end is the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, the most luxurious of the piece. With more than 100 years of history, the mansion managed by a single family brings in its architecture the best of Art Nouveau.
The Grand Hotel Tremezzo has a complete infrastructure. Several pools, one of them the iconic floating pool in the lake, spa, restaurants, park, structure for water sports, tennis court… They do not stop the options to relax, have fun and live a little of the Italian experience, which there they call "T Vacation".
From any room, from any rooms or lounges, a huge window overlooks guests and guests to the beauty of Lake di Como. It's a dazzling thing to be droping over for long minutes. Altogether there are 90 rooms, each with a different decoration and all special. The Velvet is present throughout the hotel, but here it gains new, current and vibrant colors, like orange. The period decoration was all repaginated in its last renovation, and it became very beautiful and interesting.
For marriage, spaces are what is not lacking in the hotel. The ceremony, for example, can be held in the islands Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello, the same chosen by my bride Thayane, and that has Italian gardens to drool. They are perfect for civil wedding ceremonies, and are only a 5-minute boat ride from the hotel. The reception can be held in several rooms of the hotel, there are several and several lounges for cocktails and dinners, such as La Terazza, ideal outdoor space for receptions with 60 guests, or the Sala Regina, which offers classic atmosphere for 110 people.
Leave the Grand Hotel Tremezzo with a fallen chin, and I say goodbye to Lago di Como in great style. I have no way of describing the experience, the affection and service of every employee with whom I crossed the corridors… Seriously, there is no similar place in the world (and look I already know several of them).
I hope you enjoyed (I am on hand for budgets, doubts and clarifications about a wedding destionation at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo),
Kisses,
Simone ?
